Vedic Astrology

Jyotish is the astrological system of India that uses the sidereal zodiac (the same zodiac astronomers use, which is different than the tropical western zodiac). Having an understanding of your Vedic Astrology chart can bring immense value and it's own healing when you begin to understand your tendencies and how to heal them at the deepest layers.

When reading a chart, I am most interested in understanding your deepest karmic patterns, the psychological makeup of your mind and heart, relationship tendencies, any blocks that are creating obstacles, the strengths and talents you have as well as the timing of important life events. We also employ remedies for the most troubling influences found in the chart.

We will examine the birth chart, some of the vargas (specific charts for certain areas of life), the timing of your dashas (planetary periods) and the transits affecting you. We may also consult the yearly charts if you opt to do yearly visits.

If you are a regular client for counseling services, I will ask you for your birth information (date, place and exact time) and we can use the vedic charts to understand aspects of your mind and emotions, some of the influences causing pain and how the timing of those issues are working.

Please note - my speciality is not in predictions (like how many children you will have). While there may be worthwhile questions to explore, it is not what I am best at.  If that is what you are looking for, I would be happy to recommend other skilled astrologers that are focused on making future predictions.
